Tristan Gray
Tristan Gray Idle against southpaw
Mon, Jun 15, 2026, 3:22 PM
Gray is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.
Analysis: The left-handed-hitting Gray will head to the bench while the Twins go up against a left-handed starter (MacKenzie Gore) for the second time in three games. Ryan Kreidler will step in at shortstop in place of Gray, who is batting just .176/.222/.353 in 19 plate appearances versus lefties this season.
Trevor Larnach
Trevor Larnach Sitting with lefty starting
Mon, Jun 15, 2026, 3:19 PM
Larnach is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.
Analysis: The left-handed-hitting Larnach will head to the bench while the Twins go up against a left-handed starter (MacKenzie Gore) for the second time in three games. Minnesota called up Kyler Fedko from Triple-A St. Paul on Monday, and he'll step in as Larnach's replacement in left field for what will be his MLB debut.
Alex Jackson
Alex Jackson Making start for resting Caratini
Mon, Jun 15, 2026, 3:17 PM
Jackson will start at catcher and bat ninth in Monday's game against the Rangers.
Analysis: With top backstop Victor Caratini receiving a day off, Jackson will pick up his 10th start behind the plate since the Twins called him up from Triple-A St. Paul on May 19. Over 31 plate appearances with Minnesota, Jackson is batting .267 with one extra-base hit (a double), three runs, one RBI and a 0:11 BB:K.
Victor Caratini
Victor Caratini Out of lineup Monday
Mon, Jun 15, 2026, 2:33 PM
Caratini is not in the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Rangers.
Analysis: Caratini will get a day off after clubbing his fourth home run of the season in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. Alex Jackson will start at catcher and bat ninth for the Twins on Monday.
Brooks Lee
Brooks Lee Taking seat versus lefty
Mon, Jun 15, 2026, 2:31 PM
Lee is absent from the lineup for Monday's game versus the Rangers.
Analysis: The left-handed-hitting Lee will grab a seat as the Rangers send southpaw MacKenzie Gore to the hill. Royce Lewis is getting a start at third base for the Twins in the series opener.
Kyler Fedko Added to big-league roster
Mon, Jun 15, 2026, 11:07 AM
The Twins selected Fedko's contract from Triple-A St. Paul on Monday.
Analysis: It's a well-earned promotion for Fedko, who has slashed .286/.372/.578 with 15 home runs, nine stolen bases and a 26:53 BB:K over 58 games with St. Paul. The 26-year-old can play all three outfield spots and also has some experience at first and second base. The right-handed-hitting Fedko will likely see most of his playing time for the Twins against lefties, at least initially.
Tending to glute injury
Mon, Jun 15, 2026, 9:35 AM
Culpepper exited early Saturday in Triple-A St. Paul's win over Toledo due to glute tightness, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The 23-year-old shortstop appears ready to make his big-league debut after having thus far produced a .273/.377/.498 slash line with 14 home runs and 15 steals over 61 games with St. Paul, but his first order of business will be recovering from the glute injury. Per Emily Waldon of Baseball America, the Twins don't view the issue as a major concern, as Culpepper is expected to avoid a stint on the 7-day injured list and return to the St. Paul lineup in 3-to-5 days.
Mike Paredes
Mike Paredes Getting another start
Mon, Jun 15, 2026, 8:47 AM
Paredes will start Monday's game against the Rangers in Arlington, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Paredes made two long relief appearances for Minnesota before faring well in his abbreviated first major-league start last week in Detroit, striking out four over three innings of one-run ball. The 25-year-old had made seven starts and two relief appearances with Triple-A St. Paul this season, posting a 3.38 ERA and 33:8 K:BB over 34.2 innings. Paredes hasn't thrown more than 68 pitches in an appearance at any level this season, so he's unlikely to pitch deep into Monday's contest.
Byron Buxton
Byron Buxton Racks up three more hits
Sun, Jun 14, 2026, 5:03 PM
Buxton went 3-for-5 with a double and one RBI in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Cardinals.
Analysis: Buxton is hitting .357 (15-for-42) with five home runs, eight RBI and three doubles over 11 contests in June. The outfielder has logged multiple hits in four of his last five games to fuel the surge. On the year, he's up to a .276 batting average, a .936 OPS, 22 homers, 35 RBI, 47 runs scored, 13 doubles, one triple and six stolen bases. As always, staying healthy is the biggest factor for Buxton, who can offer five-category upside when he does. He has dealt with some injury concerns this year, but nothing that's been bad enough to require a stint on the injured list yet.
Victor Caratini
Victor Caratini Clubs homer in win
Sun, Jun 14, 2026, 4:55 PM
Caratini went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Cardinals.
Analysis: Caratini got the Twins on the board with a fourth-inning homer off Michael McGreevy. This was Caratini's second long ball in June, surpassing the number he had in all of May. The catcher is now hitting .215 with a .630 OPS, four homers, 25 RBI, 11 runs scored and five doubles over 53 contests this season. He'll continue to see a decent share of playing time at catcher while Ryan Jeffers (hand) is out.
Yoendrys Gomez
Yoendrys Gomez Converts sixth save
Sun, Jun 14, 2026, 4:53 PM
Gomez struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Cardinals.
Analysis: Gomez has earned six saves on the year, three of which have come in June. He's allowed two runs over six innings this month with a 7:3 K:BB. Gomez has a 4.01 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 33:17 K:BB over 33.2 innings between the Twins and the Rays. Most of his high-leverage work (five saves and five holds) has come with Minnesota after he was traded in early May. The Twins' bullpen has been volatile this season, but Gomez should continue to get at least a share of ninth-inning duties as long as he avoids disasters, which he has done well with a 1.65 ERA over 16.1 innings for the Twins.
Taj Bradley
Taj Bradley Pitches into seventh inning
Sun, Jun 14, 2026, 4:48 PM
Bradley allowed four runs on five hits and a walk while striking out seven over 6.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Cardinals on Sunday.
Analysis: Bradley rebounded fairly well after three straight starts in which he failed to complete five frames. He still gave up four runs, with a pair of homers accounting for three of those runs on his line Sunday. Bradley has taken a step back after starting the season in great form, but this effort could help him turn things around a bit. He's at a 4.14 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 80:30 K:BB over 71.2 innings across 13 starts this season. His next start is tentatively scheduled to be on the road in Arizona.
Orlando Arcia
Orlando Arcia Designated for assignment
Sun, Jun 14, 2026, 4:42 PM
Arcia was designated for assignment by the Twins after Sunday's 5-4 win over the Cardinals, Audra Martin of FanDuel Sports Network North reports.
Analysis: Arcia had his contract selected from Triple-A St. Paul on May 19, producing a respectable .271 average with a home run, two RBI and six runs scored over 48 at-bats in 19 contests with Minnesota. Kyler Fedko is expected to have his contract selected from Triple-A on Monday, replacing Arcia on both the 40-man and major-league rosters.
Expected to have contract selected
Sun, Jun 14, 2026, 4:36 PM
Fedko is expected to have his contract selected from Triple-A St. Paul on Monday, Audra Martin of FanDuel Sports Network North reports.
Analysis: Fedko will join the major-league roster for the first time in his professional career. The outfielder has posted a .286 average with 15 home runs, 45 RBI, 44 runs scored and nine stolen bases over 206 at-bats in 58 contests with St. Paul so far this year. Orlando Arcia was designated for assignment by Minnesota on Sunday, clearing room on both the 40-man roster and the major-league roster for Fedko.
Royce Lewis
Royce Lewis Keeps raking Saturday
Sun, Jun 14, 2026, 6:21 AM
Lewis went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Saturday's 9-6 loss to the Cardinals.
Analysis: The 27-year-old continues to rake since returning to the majors in early June. After an 0-for-3 showing in his first game back, Lewis has hit safely in six straight contests, batting .435 (10-for-23) with two doubles, three homers, four runs and four RBI. Five of those seven starts have come at first base, and that appears to be Lewis' new defensive home while Brooks Lee remains at third base.
Byron Buxton
Byron Buxton Goes yard again Saturday
Sun, Jun 14, 2026, 6:17 AM
Buxton went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 9-6 loss to the Cardinals.
Analysis: The center fielder took Matthew Liberatore deep in the fourth inning to get the Twins on the board. Buxton's been locked in since a collision with the outfield wall cost him two games last weekend -- since returning to the lineup, he's homered four times in five games while batting .421 (8-for-19). On the season, Buxton's slashing .269/.331/.596 with 22 home runs, six steals, 34 RBI and 47 runs in 60 contests.
Connor Prielipp
Connor Prielipp Escapes with no-decision Saturday
Sun, Jun 14, 2026, 6:14 AM
Prielipp came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 9-6 loss to the Cardinals, giving up four runs on seven hits and two walks over six inning. He struck out two.
Analysis: The ball was flying out of Target Field as the two teams combined for seven home runs, and Prielipp served up the first of them when Ivan Herrera put a ball into the second deck in left field in the first inning. Prielipp wound up getting tagged for four runs in the first two frames, but the rookie southpaw was able to settle in and he exited after 98 pitches (66 strikes) with the score tied 4-4. He's still allowed at least four earned runs in four of his last five starts, stumbling to a 7.66 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 22:11 K:BB in 24.2 innings over that stretch, and he may need to turn things around before the likes of Bailey Ober (elbow) and Mick Abel (elbow) get healthy to keep his spot in the rotation. Prielipp is set to make his next trip to the mound on the road next weekend in Arizona.
Josh Bell
Josh Bell Riding pine Saturday
Sat, Jun 13, 2026, 11:41 AM
Bell isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Cardinals.
Analysis: Bell has notched a hit in each of Minnesota's last five games, but he'll move to the bench to begin Saturday's contest. Byron Buxton will move into the DH spot with Bell out, giving Ryan Kreidler a start in center field.
Anthony Banda
Anthony Banda Records two outs, earns win
Sat, Jun 13, 2026, 9:01 AM
Banda (2-0) earned the win Friday against the Cardinals after allowing one hit over two-thirds of an inning.
Analysis: Banda entered the game with one out in the eighth inning and allowed a single to JJ Wetherholt that loaded the bases. However, he retired Ivan Herrera with a popout and Alec Burleson with a flyout to end the threat. Banda has been outstanding for the Twins of late and hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 14 appearances (13.1 innings) dating back to May 10, posting a 13:6 K:BB in that stretch.
Joe Ryan
Joe Ryan Tosses quality start
Sat, Jun 13, 2026, 8:57 AM
Ryan wasn't involved in the decision Friday against the Cardinals. He allowed three runs on six hits across six innings while striking out eight.
Analysis: Ryan has six quality starts over his last seven appearances, and the star hurler continues to be a consistent, dependable presence on the mound for the Twins every time he takes the ball. Ryan, who has at least eight strikeouts in four of his last five appearances as well, owns a 2.66 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 10.8 K/9 across 44 innings and eight starts since the beginning of May. He's slated to make his next start on the road against the Rangers.
